I am afraid my kindness is mostly fear after keeping it in for months

I call myself nice, but sometimes I think I am just scared of people being upset with me. I keep replaying it because the small detail I ignored at the time now feels like the whole point. I am trying to be honest without turning the story into a public accusation.
